Three Years BSc Degree in Hospitality and Hotel  Administration  (National Council and IGNOU)

 FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS/WARDS OF NRIs/NRI STUDENTS IN TRADE

Those having following qualifications are eligible to apply :

12th or equivalent with English as a subject with minimum 50% marks.

or

General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London /Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.

 or

High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University.

 or

 Any  Board / University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education.

 

Age Limit :

25 years.

Years of Stay in abroad :

 5 years inclusive of 11th & 12th standard.

 

Fee in US Dollars :

$ 4500 per year

Three Years BSc Degree in Hospitality and Hotel  Administration  (National Council and IGNOU)

FOR INDIAN NATIONALS

        Course commences     :  July/August

     Duration                   :  Three years (Full Time)

   Application invited for admission to the course by advertisement.

   Application should be submitted to National Council, New Delhi, along with 

   a  Demand Draft of particular amount mentioned in the form within the stipulated time.

   Selection is done on the basis of performance in Entrance Test and interview.

        Fees :  *Approximately Rs.2 Lakhs + Hostel and Mess charges extra as per rules.

Eligibility:

The candidate should have passed +2 stage examination of 10+2 system or equivalent examination in any academic or vocational stream with English as compulsory subject.

Reservation of SC 15%, ST 7 ½ %;  GEN not more than 22 years as on 1st July and 25 years  for candidate belonging to SC/ST.

Advertisement comes in Newspapers by NC for HMCT in the month of December/January and CET is held in April and interview in June.  There are about 22 colleges all over India under Ministry of Tourism.

Post graduate diploma in Accommodations Operation (National Council)

Course commences     :  July/August

Duration    :  1 ½  Years (Full Time)

Basic Training            :  One Year.

Industrial Training    : Half Year

Registration for Admission commences from 2nd week of April every year and application should apply within the stipulated time.

Fees :  *Approximately Rs.24,000/-

Eligibility:

Graduate with English in any stream.  However, preference will be given to those with experience in the related areas as also any related technical/professional qualification

Age : Maximum up to 25 years as on 1st June of each year relaxable up to 3 years in the case of SC/ST candidates.

Selection: Based on marks obtained at the qualifying examinations as well as personal interview.

Reservation :  Seats reserved for SC/ST candidates as per Government of India norms.

Internship Training    :  Three months.

Registration for Admission commences form 2nd week of April and applicant should apply within the institute.

Eligibility:

a.  Graduate in Home Science – B.Sc.

b.  Graduate in Nutrition          – B.Sc.

c.  Graduate in Science who have passed with Chemistry/Life Science,    Microbiology/Bio-chemistry as a main subject in the Degree Examination.

Certificate Course in Hotel Catering Management  (National Council)

Duration :   21 weeks (Bi-annual – full time)

Batch –I                      :  June to November

Batch – II                    :  November to April

Registration for Admission for both terms carried out in stipulated period from April/May and September/October.

Fees :  *Approximately Rs.19,000/-

Eligibility :

a.  Secondary School Certificate Examination pass with English or equivalent with 2 years experience in 

     Managerial or Supervisory capacity in a recognized hotel, restaurant or catering establishment.

                                    OR

       b.  Graduate with English from a recognized university with one year experience in a recognized hotel,  

             restaurant  or catering establishment in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

                                     OR

       c.   Secondary School Certificate Examination pass with English or its equivalent and pass in any of the      

          Craftsmanship course viz.
                      Food Production & Patissierie, Food & Beverage Service,
                      Cookery, Bakery and Confectionery, Canning & Food
                      Preservation, Hotel Reception and Book-keeping recognized by
                      Government in any Catering or Craft Institutes with one year experience in a recognized Hotel, 

                      Restaurant or Catering establishment.

 Reservation : SC 15%, ST 7 ½%

 Minimum Age : 18 years as on 1st June.

 Selection : Based on personal interview and experience in catering establishment.

 Preference will be given in the following order:

          1.  Sponsored candidates from the Industry.

          2.  Passed one year Craftsmanship course in Food Production & Patisserie or Craft Canning and 

           Food.               

           Preservation or Craft Food and  Beverage Service (6 months) from IHMCTAN, Mumbai.

           3. Graduates.

Certificate Course for Airlines Cabin Crew positions

Objective     To prepare candidates to be employed as Cabin Crew  (Air hostesses and Flight                                 Pursers) in the airlines.
Eligibility

Educational - Minimum 10+2, Graduates preferred.

Minimum height Male - 5'6" Female - 5'2", Suitable weight as per the standard

Ht./Wt./Age chart, Age not exceeding 25 years, normal eye sight (no glasses).

No disabilities/diseases/physical drawbacks which will make candidates ineligible

for Cabin crew assignment. Desirable - knowledge of a foreign language

/ hospitality industry experience.

Duration 24 weeks, Mon - Fri, 9 A.M. to 5.15 P.M.
Selection Process Personal interviews, Decision of the institute shall be final in the matter of selection.

International Chef Diploma in collaboration with George Brown College, Toronto, Canada.

 

Admission Requirements :

- Completion of Class XII(10+2) in any stream with a minimum grade point average of 50%.

- Successful completion of an English proficiency test(IELTS,TOEFL or the equivalent) with minimum -

  score of IELTS Band 6.0 or TOEFL 550 or the equivalent.

- Successful completion of an admissions interview.

- Students will require a Canadian study visa to be eligible to complete the final two program  

  semesters  at George Brown College.

 

Fees:

Student will pay at the time of admission the fee component of IHM, Mumbai –

Rs.50,000/- to IHM, Mumbai and an admission fee of CAD $500 to George Brown College, Canada or

its agent in India. After successful completion of the first two semesters at IHM, Mumbai, the student

will pay a balance of CAD fee of $10,000 paid as admission fee to George Brown College or their agent

in India and the students will transfer to George Brown College, Toronto, Canada for the final two

semesters of the programme to be followed by six months paid internship in Canada. The application
